  Positron Code 0.9.3 — cross-platform preview Pre-release

  Complete source-build previews from commit 912480e2cd: Windows x64 ZIP, Ubuntu/Kubuntu 24.04+ x64 DEB and tar.gz, Apple Silicon Mac ZIP, and Intel Mac ZIP.

  Each archive has a SHA-256 sidecar and target-specific build report. The native-preview manifest links all four reports and archive hashes. Source is available at this release tag.

  • Preview packages, not publisher-signed public releases. Mac apps are ad-hoc signed and not notarized.
  • Owner-operated GUI, credential, debugger, board and LaTeX acceptance remains pending.
  • Linux packages target Ubuntu/Kubuntu 24.04+ x64. Intel Mac build uses existing Rosetta on M2, not physical Intel acceptance.
  • No managed Windows updater manifest is included; the existing automatic-update feed is unchanged.

  These packages do not replace your existing installation or publish an automatic-update manifest. Use a separate user-data/extensions directory for isolated preview testing. Do not disable operating-system security protections to run an unsigned preview.
